Head Coach Justin Madugu has announced a 25-player squad for the Super Falcons ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against the Cameroon women’s national football team in Yaoundé.
The double-header fixtures form a crucial part of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco.
The ten-time African champions are using the Cameroon clashes to fine-tune tactics, test combinations and evaluate squad depth as they build toward the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Super Falcons’ planned four-nation warm-up tournament was recently called off, a development seen as a setback in their build-up to WAFCON 2026. The cancellation places added significance on the Cameroon friendlies as the team seeks to maintain competitive rhythm.
