As the English Premier League progresses to Matchday Ten, Newcastle United will host Arsenal at St. James’ Park Stadium.

After a decisive 2-0 victory against their opponents in the Round of 16 of the EFL Cup, with both goals scored in the first half, Newcastle United will now seek to secure valuable points following a recent defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, where they lost 2-1. This defeat has resulted in Newcastle dropping to 12th position in the league standings.

Alexander Isak successfully netted a goal in the thirty-second minute of the first half, representing Newcastle’s sole goal in the match. Manager Eddie Howe, who has witnessed his team concede twelve goals while scoring nine at home, must enhance his strategy as they prepare to face Arsenal, a team that has experienced only one loss in their matches during the Premier League 2024/25 .

The Gunners were at their winning Peak not until when they Conceded at the Eighty-one Minute of the Second half which puts them behind Liverpool on the table.

Bukayo Saka, who had scored in his previous three appearances for Arsenal, added to his tally by netting a goal just nine minutes into the first half against Liverpool. Additionally, Merino M. contributed by scoring the second goal of the match.

Despite the absence of key players such as Calafiori R., Tierney K., Odegaard M., and Tomiyasu T. due to injuries, Arsenal must secure a victory in order to avoid extending their winless streak to three matches in the Premier League.
